Here’s some new work to hit the shelves for Super Street magazine. Had the chance to meet up with my good buddies at Bowls LA to shoot them and their project Scion xB (and matching Honda Ruckus) for last year’s SEMA show. It was a nice change of pace to hang up the lights and go natural on this one. Follow the jump for a couple more images!
To do my part in the Haiti Earthquake relief efforts, I’m selling prints from both portfolios (auto and other), with 100% of sales going to American Red Cross. Follow the jump for more info, prices, availability, etc!
Went digging through the images from this shoot yesterday looking for a different angle to wrap up the series, and ran into this profile. Still working on matching the retouching on the other, so but it’s getting close. Follow the jump for the current retouches of the rest!
More like a week late! Christmas lights are still up though, so my timing could be worse I guess. Happy Holidays to all, here’s to 2010!
I ran into these two images while going through the hard drives recently, both shot about a year ago for 0-60 Magazine. The article ended up getting canned and the photos were never published. Figured they’d be better off on here for now, but will put them on the portfolio site eventually.
Following up to last week’s post on the Mayweather RIDES cover, here’s a look at the various layers used to build up the final image above!
Just recently added another photo of the SL 65 Black Series to my portfolio. It was shot at the same time as the on-track motion image, which I’ve just retouched a little further to match the body tones of the static image. The car was a basic silver, but I was digging the look of a darker, almost charcoal metallic grey color. They do come from the factory that color though, so I guess there’s no harm in the slight color change. Re-retouch of the motion image after the jump!
Here’s a look at some new work I’ve been itchin’ to go public with for some time. We shot Floyd Mayweather on location at his home in Las Vegas for this year’s SEMA issue of RIDES. The cover image itself is a composite, which I’ll do a more in depth blog about this week. One more image posted after the jump, and check out the main site for this image sans the words as well as a couple more new images!
I’ve been listening to music on Last.fm lately due to Pandora recently adding a 40hr/month limit on free streaming. Pandora does seem to have a better rotation of music, but I dig how Last.fm has info and a photo slideshow on each artist. Oddly enough when a Jaylib song came on, while listening to the De La Soul station, my photo of them popped up! Pretty neat if anything, but makes me wonder what the legalities of this are? Looks as if images are uploaded and tagged by users at their will. Might be something to look into, as hundreds of other photographer’s images are on rotation as well!
